Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly becoming a vital component of information technology, with expectations for continued significant growth. LoRa technology has proven effective for long-distance communication in IoT, supporting device management with minimal power usage, which significantly extends battery life. This study investigates the feasibility of compromising the integrity of the message using cost-effective but efficient reactive jamming techniques to disrupt the network, with attackers executing reactive jamming when detecting packet transmission. This paper demonstrates how an active attacker model is considered in LoRAWAN communication between end nodes and a gateway, with the detection of channel frequency, chirp detection, and subsequent signal transmission.
