Abstract
This paper presents a study on a replay attack targeting the Long Range (LoRa) protocol, a popular wireless communication technology for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Insecure configuration of LoRaWAN wearable devices may result in a successful replay attack against messages sent by wearable bracelets, which may have an impact on the reliability of messages sent from legitimate devices. In this paper, the impact of such attack is analyzed by observing changes in the LoRaWAN gateway, and other parameters of the packet are derived from the replayed signal.
